Job Description


The Integrated Business Planning (IBP) group within the SCIT (Supply Chain IT) organization in IT is responsible for providing business solutions to increase the efficacy and efficiency of Intel's planning processes, including product roadmap, demand, supply, inventory, sales/revenue, financial, capital, and pricing planning. Demand planning team within IBP group is focused on transforming and digitalizing our Demand forecasting and planning processes which cover short term planning (execution horizon), mid-range planning, Long Range Planning (LRP) and New Product Introduction (NPI). This includes process transformation referencing unified set of master data leveraging common data hub. All transformations are enabled using identified enterprise software applications and most importantly in alignment with our stakeholders to execute and deliver on stated goals. This team is also responsible for sustaining demand forecasting and planning solution which is a critical part in enabling one of the top 25 global supply chain (Gartner 2022). This is an exciting time to assume this role in our team as we are about to launch second wave of these transformations. This role is focused on Demand Forecasting and Planning the process transformation with specific emphasis on Dependent Demand and attach rate concepts as it applies to semiconductor industry and forecasting and planning for semiconductor manufacturing functions (foundry, assembly, and test). Key partners for this role included business operations team, Finance, Supply Chain, and peer IT teams (Supply Chain, Data and Analytics). The ideal candidate will be inquisitive, motivated, and have a strong affinity for problem-solving using a combination of business process knowledge, business acumen, and partnership skills required to transform the underlying business processes by leveraging technology. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Translates business strategy and objectives into actionable process and value delivery roadmaps - Validates feasibility of an idea, understands the BU expectations from the product, conducts design due diligence, evaluates business value and risks - Work with Demand/Revenue Forecasting and SnOP stakeholders to define, prioritize, deploy, sustain, enhance, and when needed sunset process capabilities - Manage Business Units acceptance/expectations through all these phases - Convenes user acceptance testing and leads TCM where applicable - Leads the transformational effort to re-platform current business reference data (BRD) solution to new architecture and platform, as part of transformation programs. Must establish standardization and governance processes - Deliver data analytics and business intelligence solutions to augment the effectiveness of demand planning and forecasting processes - Accountable to the Intel Business Units for the overall delivery of IT services - Ensure alignment of transformation with relevant enterprise level initiatives - Gathers business requirements from business stakeholders across Business Units, regions, and Finance - Maintains/Builds stakeholder relationships and effectively communicate across teams - Keeps abreast with the latest process trends in forecasting and planning processes The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits: - Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills in a dynamic and fast-paced organization - Highly skilled at understanding complex business problems while connecting multiple dots - Troubleshooting skills to find root-cause and recommend and apply solutions - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong creative thinking skills and a high tolerance for ambiguity - Strong business requirements gathering, networking, and influencing skills - Skills to interact with individuals with both technical and non-technical skill sets - Detail-oriented, and proven analytical/data skills to develop and present summarized assessments and recommendations

Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field - At least 8-10 years of experience in system/business analysis in Demand Forecasting and Planning area - At least one process transformation experience integrated with a larger program - 5+ years of experience in requirements gathering, systems/business analysis, process mapping, solution acceptance testing and deployment Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years' experience working as product owner or similar responsibilities as defined in Agile development methodology - 3+ years of Process transformation experience in Demand/Supply planning in semiconductor industry or high-tech industry. Process improvement/sustenance experience could be considered in lieu of process transformation experience - Experience in designing and deploying solutions using enterprise planning software solutions such as SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, SAP BPC, Anaplan - Experience with Supply Chain analytics enabled using software solutions such as Tableau or Power BI - Experience w/ statistical or AI/Ml algorithms will be a plus

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $96,030.00-$144,050.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience


Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
