CPU Core Low Power Design Engineer
In this position, you will be responsible for CPU Power/Performance measurements, debug and optimization and Leading/Managing a Cross-geo Team driving power convergence across multiple products.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Drive power measurements and identify areas for improvement at various levels: arch, Uarch, RTL, SD and others.
Leading Architecture, Design, IP COEs and validation teams for Power/Perf debug and optimization.
Lead/improve power measurement/optimization tools that are needed for co-optimization of power and timing.
Direct Management of Power Team working optimization/projection/co-relation
Influencing the future products with Si learnings and provide multi-layered technical expertise for next generation initiatives.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering and 9+ years of experience - OR - a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering and 6+ years of experience in:
VLSI circuit design and Synthesis
Solid understanding of RTL/SV, Circuit/Logic Design and Computer architecture.
x86 CPU architecture
Power/Perf debug expertise.
Power Management experience.
Power and/or Perf modeling and Si measurement experience.
