Automotive Sales Account Manager
This role is in the Detroit, Michigan area.
This is an experienced commissioned sales position for a Sales Account Manager (SAM) within the US Territory - Automotive and Mobility Team for the General Motors account (GM) . This role will have 360-degree responsibility of the account by leading a matrix organization of all teams that support GM.
The SAM will develop and execute an account strategy, drive Intel sales activities at GM, influencing in-vehicle, foundry, Enterprise, and Business IT sales. Lead partnership engagements and support design win/design-in activities, roadmap discussions, and long-term customer success.
Additionally, this role will have responsibility for Enterprise and Business IT sales for the Ford account.

Strong track record of achieving business results and a talent for working with Automotive Tier One and IT partners. Demonstrating the go-to-market initiatives needed to grow the business for your customer and Intel across in-vehicle and IT solutions.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence customers at multiple levels with a desire and talent to collaborate with diverse and remote teams and resources.
The ability to utilize Intel's business practices and subject matter experts including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions, marketing dev funds, distribution, and code of ethics
Working knowledge of automotive development cycles, supply chain interdependencies and Enterprise IT hardware and software solutions
Exhibits a strong understanding of customer's technology landscape and industry to drive customer's digital transformation and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities within assigned accounts.
Influences and advocates Intel based products and solutions for Intel's Business units through a vertically oriented, solutions led approach to lines of business and IT
Demonstrated collaboration and teamwork skills within a diverse organization
Strong communication (written/verbal) and interpersonal skills

You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or any related field.
3+ Years of experience in business development or in technical sales/marketing role supporting automotive customers.
Experience working with automotive clients at a C-suite level.
Experience in the semiconductor industry.
10+ years' experience in Sales and Marketing selling into Auto and/or IT
