Job Description

SAP MDG & HANA

Creating/enhancing data models like adding entity, attributes, etc.,

Creating SMT Mapping

Enhancing the standard access class, creating new access class/handler class and registering handler class

UI Model Enhancements like adding new field, new UIBB and Handling Field properties

Creation of custom Change Request types and their status, Object Linkages, etc.,

Creation of custom UIBB’s and related Configuration

Enhancing the Feeder class and creating new feeder class

Creating FPM applications (Custom reports) and enhancing the standard FPM components (OVP, UIBB)

Fiori administration (Creating Catalog, Group, tile, Target mapping) and developing new Fiori application based on Fiori elements

MDG standard BADI’s (Dynamic user agent, System method, Parallel workflow and Context rule BADI)

Configure the Data quality and Search (Generating search views, creating new search views and corresponding class)

Developing Validations and derivations rules for Business partner, Material master and Custom Objects by using BRF+ configuration and rule service BADI

Data Replication Framework (Creating new replication models, configuring the Business system, Configure the filter objects etc)

Different replication methods in MDG (SOA, change pointer base and RFC based)

Integrating MDG with other SAP /Non-SAP systems (ECC, Data ware house, Sales Force, etc.,)

Configuring consolidation (Process model, Standardization, Validation, Best Record Calculation and Activation)

Creating MDG API’s (Governance API, Change request API, External model API)

Basic knowledge on EAM objects

SAP ABAP

Strong knowledge in Data Dictionary like Tables, Structure, Data Elements and Domains etc

Developing customer reports/Scripts

Strong knowledge on Implicit Enhancements, BADIs and Customer Exits

Developing interfaces like BAPIs, IDOCs, RFCs, BDC, Call Transactions etc                            

Developing web-based applications using WEBDYNPRO ABAP

Developing applications using OO ABAP and Class based modularization  

Developing Web Dynpro Components and Application

Creating Web services for Remote function Module (RFC)

Strong knowledge in SAP Debugging

SAP ODATA

Creating ODATA Services and launching them in Fiori launchpad

Implementing Functionality on Model provider and Data provider Extensions

Configuring the ODATA Services for CRUD operations

Strong Knowledge on Enhancements in ODATA

Qualifications

4 to 7 years experience in MDG S4 development

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
