We are looking for a Senior Security Software Validation Engineer to join our Trusted Platform Engineering team. This is a career defining role which will contribute directly to Intel's transformation through strategic software contributions. You will be part of our core security validation team under quality engineering developing security validation strategies, testing and contributing towards delivering high-quality secure software for our customers. Responsibilities: � Designs security validation strategies, develops tools and methodologies to validate Intel software product security features spanning various deployment environments (on-prem, cloud, hybrid) and solutions (SaaS). � Ensures code and testing follow Intel security secure coding guidelines and Intel security practices. � Engages with product security experts, security architects and Red Team members of other business units build a comprehensive security validation plan. � Keeps up to date with latest security vulnerabilities and attack vectors affecting the software industry and uses the knowledge to develop tests that validate the security features of the product. � Performs security testing and engages with development engineers and leads to address identified issues and vulnerabilities. � Drives Red Team security hackathons within the business unit and participates in security hackathons of other business units being part of the Red Team Community of Practice.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Minimum Qualifications: � Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience or Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience in software engineering. � 5+ years of experience in penetration testing or security validation of software products and services. � Experience working with various software security testing techniques (e.g.: Fuzzing, cross site scripting, SQL injection) and tools (e.g.: OpenVas, OWASP Zap, Burp Suite, SonarQube). � Experience with SaaS and Cloud based products. � Working knowledge of public clouds, IaaS, PaaS and Kubernetes. � Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. � Fast learner, having a growth mindset, ability to deal with ambiguous situations and possessing continuous innovation skills. Preferred Qualifications: � Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+ are a plus. � Python scripting at Intermediate level � Experience in key security concepts like cryptography, data encryption, key/certificate management, identity, security, and access management is highly preferred. Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
