The Intel Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. To expand the technology that provides us with advantages in programmable solutions, we are looking for a phenomenal intern to join our high-powered team.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Creating, defining, and developing system validation environment and test cases in collaboration with the team members.

  • Responsible for the development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of failures.

  • Experience with multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in improving post-silicon test content.

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

  • Quantitative, analytical, problem/conflict resolution skills.

  • Effective prioritization and time management skills. Work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Work in a dynamically changing environment which requires ingenuity and skills to solve issues.

This internship is for 12 months starting Summer 2023.


Qualifications


You must possess minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The candidate must be pursuing a Masters or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related field.

  • 6+ months experience with Programming Languages (Python and/or C++)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6+ months experience with FPGA programming

  • Experience or coursework with Computer Architecture and/or Memory Cache Coherency

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
