We are seeking a highly capable and driven leader with foundry business and manufacturing background to drive BizOps for a line of business within our silicon business group (SBM), which is responsible for silicon foundry business across all end-customers totaling 19B dollars of revenue in 2023. The leader will be responsible for driving the P and L of a platform by setting go-to-market strategy, defining business plans, recommending which business to accept under which terms, setting/tracking/reporting business and operational KPI commitments. The position will report to the general manager of the business line.Key Responsibilities:
1. Setting and program manage execution of go-to-market strategy and business plans
- Determine target markets and target customers evolution over a 10-year horizon, in collaboration with marketing, and sales teams
- Providing demand forecasts into long-range planning process to secure required capacity
- Collaborate with finance and other functions to complete NPV assessments
- Recommend which business we will accept and under which terms
- Justify development and deployment to Intel Foundry management
- Manage change requests through structured change control process
2. KPI setting/tracking/reporting
- Collaborate with execution teams to set/track/report the KPIs that are critical to achieving the aligned business plans including:
- With sales: commitments on design awards, demand forecasts
- With manufacturing: yields, cycle time, capacity bring-up, capex spend, etc
- With engineering: structural cost, RND spend, etc.
- With eco-system technology office: external IP and EDA spend
3. Driving P and L
- Run a cross-functional MRC to program manage the business and operational aspects of the P and L
- Collaborate with stakeholders across execution and corporate functions to report progress and raise issues to executive leadership within SBM and across Intel Foundry
Required Experience:
- Experience dealing with finance, fab operations, sales, sales operations , IP and EDA eco-system
- Experience dealing with business and operations aspects of P and L
- 8+ years as an expert in advanced process technology in the foundry space or technology platforms management at a fabless company.
- 7+ years of experience in any of the below:
- Broad understanding of systems and application requirements (e.g., product architecture, key IPs, packaging, design services, ASIC, key standards etc.).
- Experience with PPA analysis across libraries, memory compilers and competitive benchmarking.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in Logic Technology development and working with Foundries.
- Detailed knowledge of the foundry advanced technology competitive landscape.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in computer engineering/electrical engineering/industrial engineering/Finance/manufacturing. Masters/PhD preferred
- 10+ years of experience at a leading-edge foundry leading business operations functions.
