Supply Chain Engineer
Job Description
Be accountable for Substrates / Assembly materials regarding New Product / Technology Introduction as well as Ramp and High-Volume Manufacturing operations.
Act as a technical point of contact for factory escalations related to substrate and assembly materials related issues.
Maintain quality standards and systems of incoming materials for supporting factory build plan.
In partnership with Supplier Materials Engineering team and Materials Quality and Reliability Engineering team, lead Materials Excursion Management for timely containment, risk assessment and disposition, reliability data collection, rootcause investigation and driving supplier corrective / preventive actions as well as continuous improvement plan.
Support new supplier qualification, validation, capex and engineering activities.
Initiate and /or support quality / yield improvement and cost saving projects.
Manage Materials Change Control to ensure a smooth transition without technical issues or production interruptions.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master in Materials Science and Engineering with min. 4 years' experience in manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of thermal and mechanical behavior of materials.
Knowledge of Failure analysis tools and package reliability.- Good understanding about manufacturing process, interaction of materials with tools and processes.
Strong structure problem solving, data analysis, and design of experiments.
Strong verbal and written communication skill, presentation skill and interpersonal skill.
Experienced in using statistical tools, e.g., JMP and inventory management tools e.g. SAP.
Good record of technical paper writing.
