As a member of Design Technology Platform group, you will be at the forefront of co-optimizing Intel's state-of-the-art process technology which allows customers with diverse design needs to enable best-in-class products for data-centric applications. Tech Definition and Modeling Team serves as the design interface with the process development team and works out key design/process interactions for all new Intel processes.

In this role you partner with the process technology team to develop aggressive layout design rules and document those rules in the technology design manual. The design rule developer position offers the opportunity to interface with clients and numerous disciplines including reliability, quality, and manufacturing engineering.Responsibilities Include:

·Develop process design rules with the objective to balance process capabilities and maximization of the design application space.

·Engineer and validate rules via statistical analysis, interlock with others, such as Device engineers, Process integration engineers, DRC developers

·Document design rules using standardized methods and formats.

·Provide general customer support to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):

·Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physical Science or other related technology field and 2+ years’ experience OR a PhD degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Physical Science or other related technology field.

·1+ years of experience in one or more of the following:

oTechnology design rules interactions.

oDTCO.

oLayout manipulation.

oDigital, high-speed VLSI design.

oPhysical design, fill and layout completion or full chip integration.

oSemiconductor device physics.

oPatterning.

oModule Process development and/or process integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

·1+ years of experience in background in Device physics or extraction or FE/BE/FBE Integration.

·1+ years of experience in Layout manipulation and analysis methods

·1+ months of experience in UNIX/Linux platforms
