Infrastructure and DevOps Engineer
Job Description
- Ensures the efficient planning, provisioning, installation/configuration, maintenance, and/or operations of the hardware and software infrastructure required to build, validate, and release a wide variety of hardware and software products and projects.
- Works closely with development and quality teams to derive infrastructure design requirements, build, test, and automate tools appropriate to the project, and/or implements and maintains of those systems within the constraints imposed by Intel enterprise infrastructure (IT) and other governing bodies.
- Owns the end to end delivery pipeline, including source code management, versioning/tagging strategy, component build and packaging, test automation tooling, release staging, acceptance and/or indicators, required security and IP scans, any third-party conformance tools, artifact storage and distribution, and disaster recovery planning.
- Identifies opportunities and implements solutions for increased automation, reliability, and/or velocity within the pipeline through implementation of robust infrastructure telemetry, KPIs, and indicators, and by monitoring and applying industry best practices.
- An ideal candidate would exhibit behavioral traits that indicate excellent communication skills. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.
- Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your degree, research and or relevant previous job and or internship experiences.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualification:
- BS/MS in CS/CSE or related technical field with 10+ years experience with secure DevOps, testing and deployment automation to cloud
- Atleast one complete implementation of CICD pipeline in Github actions.
- Expertise in Github actions and related frameworks and tools.
- Expertise in pipeline maintenance.
- Experience in Kubernetes, Helm, Storage and Storage orchestrators (Like Ceph, OpenEBS, Rook etc), monitoring (Prometheus and Grafana).
- Experience ensuring DevOps pipelines and software development process complies with required Security standards including use of standard development practices.
- Experience in Terraform is must.
- Experience in DevOps with multicloud implementations- one of them must be Azure/AWS.
- Good handson experience on Day1 and Day2 operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Good understanding of Hardware based security technologies such as TEE-SGX, TPM, TXT, TDX.
Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
K8s certification is a plus.
-Experience in key security concepts like cryptography, data encryption, key/certificate management, identity, security, and access management is highly preferred.
-Demonstrated experience with software development tools and methodologies, including typical enterprise application architectures and the ability to write scripted or compiled application and automation code with programming languages such as Shell, Python, Ruby, Perl, Java, C, C++, and C# or other equivalent.
- Understanding of microservices and distributed application architecture.
- Strong communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations and engagements.
- Experience in building and managing enterprise-scale DevOps platforms, including code repositories, automated build and testing tooling, automated deployment tooling, containerization technologies, and general automation of infrastructure, provisioning, and configuration management functions.
