Network Software Engineer Intern

Job Description

ND SW is looking for help in testing drivers for Intel Ethernet controllers. All our tests are developed and executed in a fully automated test environment based on various scripting and programming languages C, Python, TCL, bash.

In this position you will be working as a member of a software validation team. You will be responsible for:

  • Execution of test cases and suites
  • Configuration of test environment
  • Bug reproduction
  • Design of automated test cases and test scenarios
  • Implementation of test suites in test automation framework

Besides regular work you can:

Qualifications

You must be a student of computer science or related field and be willing to undertake an internship for minimum 12 months. Other requirements include:

Required qualifications:

Intermediate C and/or Python programming skills
Basic Ethernet networking knowledge
User-level knowledge of Linux operating systems
Good English skills for verbal communication and technical documentation authorship

Nice-to-have experience but not necessary you will learn it on the job:

Network configuration under Linux
Knowledge of Linux device drivers
Embedded software testing
FreeBSD operating system
Basic TCL and bash scripting skills
