Job Description


  • Responsible for Influencing and advocating Intel based products, solutions and services including Intel Foundry Services for all of Intel's Business units through a vertically oriented, solutions led approach to Business and IT.
  • Responsible for working with covered accounts in specific industry segments or territories where deep engagements require a multi-year strategy with the customer around transformation and territory engagements take the more traditional approach.
  • Impact should result in executive level trusted advisor status which should drive our relevance, preference and pull for our strategic focus areas.
  • The candidate will be responsible for establishment and execution of strategy to accelerate revenue growth in Japan Automotive Vertical.
  • The responsibility will cover large accounts in the Automotive industry especially on Car OEMs and major car suppliers mainly based in Kanto Area as well as all the organizations which supports the sectors.
  • The AE will develop and/or adapt technology enabled solutions to accomplish country strategic objectives in the sector.
  • The AE will directly engagement the top officers and executives in the segment directly and through partner engagement.
  • The AE will manage initiatives to drive strategic long-term trends while establishing scale as growth engine for near term revenue growth.
  • This is a commissioned sales position and will be directly reports to the Japan Business Consumption Sales Team. The AE will closely work with the Japan Business consumption team as well as other related sales team in Japan and global.
  • In this commissioned and technical sales role, a successful candidate will be responsible for: Driving the adoption and preference for Intel-based products, solutions, services and/or technologies in the automotive industry Responsible for developing, managing and influencing the account portfolio in automotive industry.
  • Cultivate, educate, and engage senior-level decision makers responsible for determining and selecting products, solutions and/or services for their workloads and their products.
  • Manage Intel's engagement with peer sales executives from partner ecosystems such as to drive the preference and adoption on Intel based products, solutions and services.
  • Understand the customers' business, pain points and/or challenge and propose better solutions based on Intel technologies and/or services through collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders which bring win-win result.
  • This is a commissioned sales position.

A successful candidate will:

  • Employ 'solution and consultative based selling' to influence customers decisions toward the best Intel technologies, services and/or solutions.
  • Have experience in supporting large scale complex enterprise solutions decision making on market available solutions/services, integration and implementation. Strong understanding of both industrial specific and generic trend, case studies, key market players and challenge as well as basic IT and automotive business knowledge.
  • Clearly explain advantage of Intel's technologies, solutions and services for each of customer's demand, requirement and challenge.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment, within the account team and with business unit and partner teams, coordinating the right resources to produce preference for Intel.
  • Be the voice of the customer; encapsulate customer-/market-feedback into the Intel business-units/development teams to shape future product/technologies and customer engagement.
  • Utilize excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks in a very interrupt driven environment including pipeline management.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
  • Good relationship building skills are necessary, including the ability to build a rapport and communicate effectively with all levels of Intel and the customer.


Qualifications


  • A self-motivated, self-sufficient and self-start individual who can the initiative and using problem solving to drive to results.
  • Senior, successful sales/market development professional with strong 5-10+ years' experience in solution development and passion to selling the technology to Automotive Accounts. And prove of track of record in successfully engaging, negotiating and influencing at the executive levels.
  • Ability to manage business development across business unit project teams, which consist of field commercial and technical teams, marketing, business unit and support staff.
  • Ability and motivation to stay current on emerging industry trends, technologies, and issues with infrastructure and Vertical solutions and market expertise. Proven track record of participating in complex customer and partner engagements.
  • Proven ability to Excellent cross-functional team leadership and strong influence / matrix management skills
  • Strong attitude on result oriented and discipline and prove of track of record on making and meeting the commitment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English
  • Desirable: Intel's strategies, products, and technologies to adapt to required solution
  • A bachelor degree in BA/BS is a must and a Master's Degree will be preferred

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
