Intel Foundry is developing the next generation of silicon solutions to enable tomorrow's computing solutions. Within Intel Foundry, Logic Technology Development (LTD) creates and perfects each process technology node.

About the Role:

The senior LTD yield technologist, reporting to the director of LTD Yield, works with leadership within TD process engineering, yield, and integration engineering.


The responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide navigation and leadership to meet Intel's yield objectives.
  • Formulate yield problems mathematically, identify solutions, and remove technical and non-technical barriers by influencing stakeholders to achieve successful solutions.
  • Develop, organize, and present yield strategies to LTD leadership.
  • Lead teams within yield and across LTD to understand all technology yield issues.
  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Process Integration, Device Integration and Defect teams to identify yield detractors and yield enhancement opportunities.
  • Identify root cause of systematic yield issues and propose mitigation plan in defined timeline to meet committed production yield targets.
  • Develop new yield analysis methods and algorithms to deliver world class yield analytics.
  • Work with design business units to debug new and novel process/product interactions.
  • Influence make vs. Buy decisions for Yield analysis tools and algorithms.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • Experience in yield projection with EOL signals and in line parameters
  • Experience in advanced semiconductor device and process flow

Experience/Skills Preferred:

  • Expertise with data analysis systems and software tools
  • Project/program management experience with strong self-initiative and self-learning capabilities.
  • Proven track record of working across organization through matrix structures to accomplish strategic objectives with conflicting priorities.

Qualifications


  • Ph.D. in engineering, physical science, computer science, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in advanced node semiconductor industry in yield analysis and data science.

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
