In this role, candidate will lead a team of PDK engineers working on the design level validation of PDKs. The team size is 30 people with 2 levels of hierarchy. As a member of the Design Enablement organization, will work closely with teams in United States, Bangalore and Penang with the goal of releasing high quality, best-in-class PDKs to product design teams at Intel and outside. The PDK team is responsible for delivering PDKs on 4 major technology nodes and their variants, which support a wide variety of EDA vendor tools. Candidate has to study the content of each PDK and arrive at a design level test plan, specifically focused on the new features in the kit and ensure they are thoroughly validated before release.

In this managerial role, responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Ensuring the consistency and completeness of the Design level validation of PDK, with special focus on the new features in the kit and ensure they are covered in the validation plan.
* Tracking all the issues filed by the team and ensure timely resolution.
* Working with PMs on schedules for the releases.
Strategically drive new validation methodologies for improved results
* Collaborate with other QA managers as needed, for overall PDK quality.
* Manage internal and external stakeholders to collaborate effectively towards team deliverables.
Hire, retain and develop the talent in the organization.


Qualifications


Qualifications
Candidate must possess the below requirements to be initially considered for this position.
The candidate must possess a Masters in VLSI related field.
*16+ years of experience with a breadth in analog design, SOC design, CAD/TFM, PDK development and/or validation.
* 8+ years of experience in managing mid to large size teams.
* Knowledge of various components of the PDK content.
* Analog/custom design experience, working on IPs.
* Has exposure to a breadth of EDA tools from different vendors.
* Planning, prioritization and delegation skills
* Ability to collaborate and work effectively with globally distributed cross-functional teams.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present complex issues with clarity to drive decisions

Working Model


This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
