Technical Writer

Job Description
Responsible for designing, writing, revising, editing and publishing of technical enabling documentation for Internet of Things solutions. Types of documentation include: application papers, specifications, design guides, user guides, product descriptions, manuals, release notes, API reference manuals. Analyzes and interprets data to determine appropriate syntax, style, and grammatical usage. Apply Intel template and style guidelines. Performs tasks related to the construction of technical illustrations and graphics. Attends planning/coordination meetings to assess customer requirements. Works with engineering subject matter experts to develop and refine document content.


-Minimum 5 years technical writing experience required-SDL Trisoft content management system experience a plus-Ability to prioritize work in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment-Ability to collaborate and clearly communicate with cross-site, international teams-Experience with Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, JustSystems Xmetal, and Acrolinx-Knowledge of user experience, information architecture, content strategy and design principles preferred
