Product Test Development Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for engineers that are excited to be part of one of Intel's fast growing teams, NSG Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group. As a Product Test Development Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the test-ability and making significant contributions to design, development and validation of testability circuits.
  • Evaluation, development and debug of complex test methods.
  • Developing and debugging complex software programs to convert design validation vectors and drive complex test equipment.
  • Creating and testing validation and production test hardware solutions.
  • Testing, validating, modifying and redesigning circuits to guarantee component margin to specification.
  • Analyzing and evaluating component specification versus performance to ensure optimal match of component requirements with production equipment capability with specific emphasis on yield analysis and bin split capability.
  • Analyzing early customer returns with emphasis on driving test hole closure activities.
  • Creating and applying concepts for optimizing component production relative to both quality and cost constraints.
  • Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and experienced judgment.


Qualifications

Education:

Must have a BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or similar degree.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience including working on non-volatile memory components, product test development applications or memory test hardware development
  • 2+ years of experience with Memory testers and test code environment, specifically wafer-level memory testers.
  • 2+ years of experience with C and C++

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience with Fab, Wafer Sort, Assembly, Test, and Q&R
  • Previous experience with NVM products and design validation, product qualification and manufacturing test
  • Demonstrated experience of device physics, circuits, statistics, and fabrication process
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately once per quarter
