Sr. Legal Counsel, Marketing & Communications

Job Description

Intel's Global Marketing and Communications (GMC) organization is the dynamic and creative team responsible for showcasing the amazing experiences that Intel technology delivers, using cutting-edge marketing methods.

As an attorney supporting GMC, you will be both a trusted legal counselor and an integrated business partner for high-energy creatives who like to push the envelope.

  • You will help drive a variety of digital, traditional, and experiential marketing programs to promote a broad range of technologies including PCs, servers, Virtual Reality, and the Internet of Things.
  • You’ll counsel clients and work hands-on with the business to optimize risk on a variety of legal and business issues, including truth-in-advertising; development and use of content; privacy; co-marketing; contract drafting and negotiation; and management of marketing programs.
  • You’ll develop a deep understanding of relevant business group goals and objectives, and their products and technologies.
  • You may develop and deliver client trainings, and draft and negotiate marketing agreements including co-marketing, content licenses, and sponsorships.  


Qualifications

  • Current U.S. state bar membership
  • At least nine (9) years of relevant, substantive legal experience in key areas such as truth-in-advertising, contract drafting and negotiation, proper disclosures and notices, copyright, right of publicity, privacy, and contests and promotions.
  • Be a self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and risk-taking, who will work to drive client objectives, and who will approach work with flexibility and a positive attitude. The ability to adapt and be willing to take optimized risks will be a key to success.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and to manage a diverse and complex workload while maintaining priorities and proactively anticipating issues; strong teaming skills. 
  • The ability to understand and interpret complex technical information 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and senior-level clients
