Responsible for technical functions in support of engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modifications, fabrications, of design circuitry, electromechanical systems, or specialized test equipment. Conducts engineering tests and detailed experimental testing to collect data or assist in research work. May perform operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment. Assignments are semiroutine in nature. Work performed within generally defined parameters. Some degree of judgment required in resolving nonstandard problems. Normally receives general instructions on most work.
-Use common lab equipment
- DIMM, scopes, bench power supplies, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, etc.
-Configure PC for networking in Microsoft Windows environment,
-Create hardware test fixtures and perform board re-work.
-Experience with Microsoft Office products - especially Excel.
-Experience with LabView: running tests, debugging code, writing new test procedures.
-Experience with SPEED and NPO NIC products a plus.
-Expert at board rework -AA/AS with 7+ years of relevant experience.
