RealSense technology is charting new territory in perceptual computing by sensing, understanding, interacting and learning in ways that will revolutionize the way we solve problems – in both consumer and enterprise markets.

As a Physical Design Engineer, you will play an integral role in contributing within experienced teams to the successful implementation of new Intel Computer Vision SOCs & IPs whilst working closely with the Architecture, SoC Security, RTL, DFT and Manufacturing teams to ensure the design will achieve right-first-time silicon in high volume production. 


  • Timing Constraints development, timing constraints validation, signoff Static Timing Analysis and full-chip & block-level timing closure
  • Synthesis, UPF development, full chip floor-planning, power grid design, place & route, clock tree synthesis, electromigration / IRDrop analysis, power/signal integrity analysis, Crosstalk analysis, packaging design, formal equivalence checking and physical verification (DRC/LVS/Antenna)
  • Enabling low power implementation methods
  • Participate and lead others in developing scripts/methodologies/flows automation and improvements to the backend design flow


Skills / Experience Required:

  • 5+ years of industry experience
  • Hons. Bachelors/Masters in Electronic Engineering /Computer Science or equivalent
  • Expertise in Timing Constraints/STA
  • Tcl/Tk/Perl scripting expertise desired.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work well within a team
  • Good verbal and written communication skills 

Desired Experience:

  • Tool suite : Formality, IC Compiler, IC Compiler2, Primetime, Design Compiler, Redhawk
  • Experience of UPF low power design
  • Working knowledge of DFx techniques and tools
