Graphics Hardware Engineer

Job Description
Intel's Visual Technology Team VTT group is focused on developing the best in class graphics technology that will be part of all Intel major product lines. We are looking for engineers in DFX team responsible for delivering the proprietary debug and test features. In this role you will get exposure to all the phases of the product development, from learning the specs and the design, defining environment and test plan, implementing the environment, run & debug simulations and Post silicon enabling & debug. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Reading/Interpreting/Developing Micro-architecture specification and RTL implementation of DFX units.Developing IP level test bench, Bus Functional Models, checkers and assertions using standard verification methodologies Create directed and random test cases, debugging failures, filing and closing bugsWork with Physical design team for smooth integration of units.Collaborating and communicating with Cross-functional teams, architects, IP/SOC integration teams spread across multiple sites around the globe.Contributing to post-silicon enabling/debug preparation and sighting resolution


Must possess a minimum of a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with at least 3-4 years.Knowledge of digital design, industry standard verification methodologies and tool flow Experience in the development, assessment, and refinement of RTL design to target power, performance, area and timing goalsExperience in all aspects of pre-silicon functional verification, including planning, debug, test bench design and coverage closureExperience working with different functional teams such as emulation, firmware, hardwareSelf-motivation, strong problem solving and excellent verbal/written communication skillsKnowledge of scripting languages like shell scripting and PERLPrevious industry experience in DFX will be added advantage.
