Job Description Intel's Visual Technology Team VTT group is focused on developing the best in class graphics technology that will be part of all Intel major product lines. We are looking for engineers in pre-silicon validation team responsible for validation and sign-off of the Graphics IP cores. In this role you will get exposure to all the phases of the product development, from learning the specs and the design, defining environment and test plan, implementing the environment, run & debug simulations and Post silicon enabling & debug. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Reading/Interpreting Micro-architecture specification and developing test plan/test contentDeveloping test bench, Bus Functional Models, checkers and assertions using standard verification methodologiesCreate directed and random test cases, debugging failures, filing and closing bugsUnderstanding the Graphics work load use cases and benchmarking the use case performance for various stress scenarios.Collaborating and communicating with Cross-functional teams, architects, IP/SOC integration teams spread across multiple sites around the globe.Contributing to post-silicon enabling/debug preparation and sighting resolution
Must possess a minimum of a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with at least 3-12 years of experienceKnowledge of digital design, industry standard verification methodologies and tool flow Experience in all aspects of pre-silicon functional verification, including planning, debug, test bench design and coverage closureExperience working with different functional teams such as design , emulation, firmware, hardwareSelf-motivation, strong problem solving and excellent verbal/written communication skillsKnowledge of scripting languages like shell scripting and PERLPrevious industry experience in Graphics will be added advantage.Previous industry experience in either Veloce/Palladium/Zebu based emulation flows or formal verification techniques like BDD's , SAT and BMC will be an added advantage
