The Windows OS Division WOS within the Software Services Group SSG is searching for energetic and passionate Software OS Engineers. In this position, you will have the wonderful opportunity to learn, grow and excel! You will have the opportunity to contribute to architecture, development, analysis, and debug of operating system software enhancements for Microsoft operating systems OS and Microsoft virtualization products ranging from small form-factor devices to servers. You will be working closely with engineering and architecture leads from the product groups at Intel and Microsoft to define and enable the next generation technologies to be competitive in performance and power. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Researching, implementing, and driving adoption of optimized alternatives and algorithms for Windows* OS products. These optimizations will involve power and performance optimizations and feature enhancements to support advanced Intel's microprocessors, chipsets, and platforms. Reviewing and enabling processor and platform features for core Windows* OS and virtualization products. Analyzing and evaluating system and processor errata for current systems and future Intel processors and platforms. Defining and driving processor and platform features and architecture definition into future Intel processors and platforms.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Must have a bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
At the bachelor level applicants must have a legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.
Minimum 9 months experience:
Hands-on experience debugging system software and drivers.
