Global Reverse Logistics Intern

Job Description

The Global Reverse Logistics GRL organisation is responsible for managing all aspects of product returns for Intel's customers across the globe. The GRL team in EMEA have an opening for an Intern in 2018.

GRL delivers our services by utilizing a range of third party logistics suppliers. We support all of Intel's product offerings and work closely with stakeholders across Intel to create & deploy the Reverse Logistics solutions required to meet the needs of Intel's rapidly growing business. We support a wide variety of OEM, Distributor and Reseller customers.

As an intern within the GRL team, you will be working on projects designed to develop our RL supply chain and enhance our customer's experience of Intel's returns process. Responsibilities will include the analysis of returns data to identify opportunities for returns reduction and margin growth, communicating with customers and suppliers on specific issues relating to the returns process, delivery of training to the customer on Intel's returns process, working on teams using Lean tools and methodologies to improve the efficiency of Intel's returns processes, etc.

We are looking for interns who can support a 10-12 month fixed-term placement at our Leixlip campus in Co. Kildare, suitable for students currently studying for a degree in a Business, Supply Chain, or Information Systems related discipline, which includes industry placement.

The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to collaborate with others to achieve high quality results
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-changing environment
  • Ability to research & analyse complex information data sets and communicate the results / recommendations Skilled at critical thinking and problem solving
