Job Description

Senior Staff Device and Integration engineers for NonVolatile Memory are responsible for leading research and development in order to architect, synthesize, integrate and deliver leading edge nonvolatile memory technologies to high volume manufacturing. They contribute to defining process and device architectures, technology collaterals as well as develop scaling paths for leading edge memory technologies.

The scope includes development of new types of process and device architectures involving novel materials and synthesis, structures and integration schemes to deliver industry leadership in density, performance, reliability and cost. They collaborate with technology development partners in defining goals, developing the vision, aligning strategy and driving fast paced silicon development to meet aggressive technology node cadences. In addition they work closely with the product and system teams to ensure seamless integration of the memory components into Intel's system products as well as with the manufacturing Fabs to ensure a seamless technology transfer and ramp to support the full envelope of component and system products.



Candidate should possess a Bachelor of Science degree with at least 10 years additional experience, or a Master of Science degree with at least 7 years additional experience, or a PhD degree with at least 5 years of additional experiences in Electrical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, or Apply Physics or Chemistry departments.

Minimum Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experiences in State of Art electron devices, memory technology preferred, including:

  • Semiconductor device characterization
  • Design of Experiment and statistical data analysis
  • Test Structure Design and Silicon implantation for device scaling, performance improvement and technology characterization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Semiconductor Process and Integration
  • Memory array/product test and characterization
  • Material synthesis, characterization and techniques for solid state electronic devices
  • Understanding of data integrity and memory-management algorithms in Non-Volatile memories.
  • Knowledge on Digital and Analog circuit and system design; memory component is a plus.
