Job Description GFX Front End Tools, Flows and Methodology TFM Team is seeking for an engineer who has zest to innovate, can bring in out-of-the-box ideas and can drive efficiency in various front end processes. In this position, you will be working closely with the rest of the FE Tools team to develop, set up, maintain, enhance, innovate next generation tools, processes and methodologies for GFX FE Team, assist users with tool issues they encounter, interface with tool owners to resolve bugs, provide automation and make improvements to existing flows. You will be training users on tools, process and methodology. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Conducting studies and/or research on various fields to improve the tools performance and/or accuracy Evaluate new TPM and report out on ROI improvements compared to existing TPM Drive acceptance and deployment of new or enhanced TPM across GFX FE team Work with Vendors EDA Tools directly to get solutions for customer reported issues
Bachelor's degree with minimum 8 years' experience or Master's degree with 6 years' experience in EE/CS/CE or related fieldGood knowledge in Linux or UnixGood Knowledge of Scripting Languages PERL, Python, TCL, C-ShellKnowledge of Markup Languages like XML, YAML and programming languages like C, C++, C, JAVA will be added advantageKnowledge of OOO Object Orient Programming concepts will be added advantageKnowledge of VLSI technology, ASIC design flow, Formal verification techniques or System Verilog will be an added advantageCustomer OrientationExcellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
