Product Communications Specialist

Job Description

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

The client computing business continues to boom with new cutting edge processors from X-series to 8th Gen Intel Core and more. This is the ideal opportunity for a communications professional looking to build and grow their career.

We are looking for a motivated professional to join the Global Communications organization to support storytelling and influence work specifically around our client computing business. This self-starter should have previous experience working with press, not to mention a passion for technology, communications strategy and storytelling. This role will engage with a diverse mix of colleagues across the Global Marketing and Communications organizations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Actively participate in the creation of integrated communications campaigns that highlight Intel's value and client products for tech enthusiast, commercial and consumer audiences.
  • Proactively define, deliver and execute creative media programs for product launches and disclosures.
  • Effectively partner across the Global Marketing and Communications group including social, corporate, analyst and marketing teams, to develop and deliver well rounded programs that yield maximum results.
  • Effectively liaise with Intel business groups to understand and translate business goals into strategic PR and thought leadership programs that can be executed both directly and via 3rd parties e.g., agencies, partners, etc.- Regularly report out on results, learning and opportunities for continuous program improvement.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Requirements:

  • MS degree in journalism, public relations, communications or related field
  • This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in product and/or technology PR experience in consumer electronics preferred .
  • Previous experience and the ability to be a confident and capable spokesperson
