Graphics Software Engineer

Job Description
The candidate will be part of Graphics System Validation Tools team in Visual and Parallel Computing Group VPG In this position, candidate will be responsible for developing validation tools and methodologies for testing and debug of graphics IP. Responsibilities include but not limited toDevelopment of validation/debug toolsUnderstand the new graphicsDisplay, 3D and Media features/DCNs and Specifications and convert them to validation tools.Work with validation stakeholders and fixing the bugs in toolsCode reviews, Code Quality Checks, Turn-ins, Regressions, Code efficiency improvements Ability to comprehend and design/develop validation infrastructure for multiple platforms/environments Post Silicon, Emulation and Simulation Ability to convert Problem Statement to design/development.Hands on experience in DFX Tools development will be an added advantage


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with 2-6 years of experience OR Master or Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering Should have basic understanding of Computer architecture, micro controller/microprocessor, graphics architecture/design &/ Video processing technics/standards.Experience and Strong Hands On knowledge of C/ C / C++/ Shell programming/PERL/Python/ in Windows environment. Good analytical ability, problem solving and communication skills.
