The Programmable Solutions Group (PSG) has been delivering industry-leading custom logic solutions to customers since inventing the world's first reprogrammable logic device in 1984. In order to take advantage of the many opportunities that we see in the future for FPGA’s, PSG is looking for phenomenal senior level Hardware Engineer to join the System Solutions Engineering (SSE) team.

The SSE team partners with strategic marketing, product planning, and other departments to understand where the different industries are going, and what solutions we can provide. We use our understanding to help the diverse groups craft the strategy, and help the marketing team engage customers, as well all drive towards our company's success.

As a hardware engineer, you will perform network product design and development engineering assignments related to hardware products and systems including development of new products and/or updates to existing products. Your work encompass one or several areas of engineering including RTL coding, verification, and board validation. Your duties may include research, evaluation, development and application of new processes and methods into network products. May be responsible for establishing and conducting testing routines, developing or executing project plans, budgets resource and schedules, and documentation of work and results.


  • BSEE, BSCE, or related degree
  • 8 years of experience in networking system design (or 6 years of experience if you have a MSEE/MSCE or related degree)
  • Experience with RTL design in Verilog

Preferred (Additional) Qualifications

  • Knowledge and/or experience in Cryptography, network security, and security open standard
  • MSEE, MSCE, or PhD in a related degree
  • Knowledge of software driver
  • Knowledge in virtualization environment of both servers and applications and the use of hypervisor technologies including open protocols
  • Knowledge in the functions and features in a cloud/data center environment
  • Experience with Perl, Python, or other scripting languages
  • Experience with board bring up and debug
