Intel Silicon Photonics Product Division SPPD is part of Data Center group developing cutting edge opto-electronic transceiver modules based on novel technologies and by utilizing traditional silicon manufacturing techniques. In this position you work within the SPPD validation team and are responsible for developing validation test setups for high speed optical subsystems, overseeing and executing validation tests, analyzing and documenting validation results. You are also expected to interface with architecture, design, and manufacturing teams to improve product design, performance and yield.
Minimum QualificationBS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar technical fieldsFundamental understanding of high speed optical transceivers and its components3+ years of photonics experience with emphasis in high speed components, subassemblies or modulesProficiency in optical and high speed electrical test methodologies for optical transceiver sub-assemblies and modulesKnowledge of IEEE standards and multi-source agreements for high speed datacom transceiversProficiency in statistical data analysisExperience in automating test setupsTechnical leadership and ability to solve technical problems independentlyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsMS in electrical engineering or similar technical fieldsProficiency in statistical data analysis using JMPExperience in automation of test setups using Labview and PythonInside this Business Group
