Graduate Technical Intern

Job Description

Developer Products Division (DPD) within the Software Services Group (SSG) is looking for energetic and passionate graduate interns. In this position the candidate will work on state of the art algorithms and optimizations in areas including deep learning, computer vision, and security. The project includes architecture analysis, performance characterization, and hardware-specific optimizations. This work may extend to cover several heterogeneous compute blocks such as GPUs, CPUs, FPGAs, and purpose-built accelerators.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Master or PHD Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other science/engineering related field.
  • Six months experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:
    • C, C++
    • Computer architecture and operating systems principles
    • Computer vision and/or deep learning
    • OpenCL and OpenVX
