Network SW Validation Engineer

Job Description

As a System Validation Engineer in Intel Poland Data Center Group you will work on pre- and post-silicon system validation and test automation for Intel connectivity, networking and acceleration products.

You will become a member of a geographically dispersed organization, working closely with teams in Poland and United States. Your work will support the goal of driving next-gen Intel connectivity and networking architecture for cloud and data center markets.

Your responsibilities in this position will include but not be limited to:

  • Design and development of test automation and test tools;
  • Implementation of test suites in test automation framework;
  • Test cases execution;
  • Configuration of test environment;
  • Identifying and reporting software, firmware and hardware defects;
  • Bug reproduction.


Required qualifications:

  • Intermediate C and/or Python programming skills;
  • Basic Ethernet networking knowledge;
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems;
  • Good English skills for verbal communication and technical documentation authorship;

Nice-to-have experience but not necessary you will learn it on the job:

  • Network configuration under Linux;
  • Knowledge of Linux device drivers;
  • Embedded software testing;
  • FreeBSD operating system;
  • Bash scripting skills.
