IPU modeling student for ICG

Job Description

We are looking for a IPU modeling student to join the ICG group.

Intel's Imaging and Camera Technologies group ICG is developing state of the art camera technology that is used in all of Intel's major product lines, widely deployed in many consumer and other products.

You will be part of a winning team that deals with variety of challenges like research, simulation and architecture of both hardware and software solutions

Responsibilities will include: develop C, C++ models, maintaining and verifying them in the IPU simulator.

Write tests which verify and stress the performance of the models.

The candidate must be able to work as part of an agile team, adjust to changes, and communicate ideas


2 years of academic school of Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Availability for one year ahead as a student.

Has academic knowledge of computer architecture.

Experience in the following areas:-C, C++ programming and software development -Scripting languages Python, Perl, etc-Building HW models at different levels of abstraction

-Development and debug skills both in Linux and in Visual-Studio.

Additional skills in any of the following areas are a plus:

-Experience in implementation of image processing algorithms.

-Real-time coding and code optimizations.Strong communication skills Strong written and oral communication skills in English
