Overclocking-Performance Engineer

Job Description

Designs and develops electronic or electromechanical equipment or systems oriented products and prepares related installation, operation, and maintenance specifications and instructions, analyzes equipment to establish operating data and conducts experimental tests, analyzes engineering proposals and related technical data to determine feasibility of assigning new equipment or modifying existing equipment. Responsible for prototype construction and checkout, complies operational data and prepares customer application information. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement. Specifically, in this position, you will play a role in designing, debugging, and integrating our overclocking system solutions.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.


The ideal candidate will be a PC enthusiast and have a passion for pushing technology to its limits. You will have the drive to push through barriers, question existing assumptions, and provided data to drive decisions. Looking for someone that is both capable of performing the duties of this job and who finds personal satisfaction in working on overclocking technology.

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other science/engineering related field.
  • 6 months experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas:
    • PC Architecture
    • Install OS, drivers, utilities, and debug
    • Oscilloscopes
    •  Read schematics and review layouts with tools like Allegro.
    • Scripting tools such as Python

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Overclocking interest
  • validation experience
  • Firmware development experience
