We are looking for people experienced in Graphics Architecture, in particular GPGPU Compute architecture, Performance and Power analysis of Compute workloads and kernels to help define and build the next generation of highly efficient GPU architectures. The role involves understand the emerging new workloads for GPGPU such as Machine Learning/Deep Learning/Compute Vision/Speech and developing highly optimized GPU kernels for such workloads and work with our partner software and enabling teams to help deliver high performant solutions on our GPUs for such workloads. The job involves being an Individual Contributor in doing some of this work hands on and well as setting technical direction and giving leadership to a small team of 4-5 engineers in doing this work. Ensures platform and its components have the best performance and power balance specifically focusing on graphics hardware components. Research and development of next generation platform designs to continually improve the performance. Conducts system analysis on proprietary and competition platforms, develops advanced hardware tuning and overclocking. Required Skills and Experience:
MS Computer Science Electrical Engineering or related field with 10+ years of experience in GPU design/architecture. A PhD is preferred.
5+ years of experience in building analytical and/or simulation based performance models and/or in Performance Analysis/Perf Debug.
