As a SoC Design Engineer, you will be working within the Server Development Group SOC design team, working on next-generation Xeon products/IPs for Server markets.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Lead definition, design, verification, and documentation for SoC System on a Chip development.
Lead architecture design, logic design, and system simulation.
Defines module interfaces/formats for simulation.
Performs Logic design for integration of cell libraries, functional units and subsystems into SoC full chip designs, Register Transfer Level coding, and simulation for SoCs.
Contributes to the development of multidimensional designs involving the layout of complex integrated circuits.
Performs all aspects of the SoC design flow from high-level design to synthesis, place and route, timing and power to build a design database that is ready for manufacturing.
Analyzes equipment to establish operation infrastructure, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results.
May also review vendor capability to support development.
You will have atleast a BS or MS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
Minimum 5+ years of experience with Silicon Logic Verification
Additional qualifications include:
Experience with System Verilog and methodologies like OVM/UVM with high flair for programming in OOP techniques.
Creation of test plan, coverage closure, test case and regression suite development. Debugging RTL issues, regression failures, and verification environment issues, including class-based verification components.
Experience in one or more parallel IO protocols is preferred but not required. Understanding of Verification IP architecture for any complex protocol especially mixed signals with digital/analog blocks would be an added advantage.
