Modem Stability Test Project Lead

Job Description
As a manager, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.


Job Details:Manage modem stability verification execution team which is responsible for the test planning, execution, and reporting of MTBF for mobile platforms around the world. You will be responsible to plan and provide resources for activities to meet project schedules, requirements, and cost. Cultivate and reinforce appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identify and analyze problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provide guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plan and schedule daily tasks as well as long term strategy. Drive network features into the live network and eNodeB environments. Drive automation framework development. Collaborate with other teams to improve overall efficiency.Qualifications:- Possess a degree in Engineering Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.- 5+years of experience as an engineering manager and 7-10 years in the area of mobile testing.- Excellent problem solving and time management skills.- Demonstrated experience in verification.- Being able to communicate to your team, its role in the success of the business, interpret and communicate relevant trends and issues, developing plans that align to the strategy.- Good knowledge of cellular modem standards and network providers.- Understanding of MTBF metric and statistics.- Experience in driving test strategy and implementation of quality testing.- Experienced in performance management.- Demonstrated experience planning projects and a track record of delivering quality reports.- Excellent leadership skills
