The leader for End-User Computing and Communications in the IT Infrastructure segment is responsible for delivering reliable computing and communication solutions to all Intel employees world-wide. The vision for the group is to improve the productivity of Intel employees and deliver solutions that are useful and easy to use. The successful candidate will lead a world-wide organization of about 350 employees who support over 140,000 client computers, 50,000 small form factor devices, and the Intel voice, data, and video communications infrastructure with best-in-class quality and cost. The annual expense budget in scope is $125M, and capital budget of $35M annually.Drives Intel-wide business transformation via CS/HR/BU leaders to evolve the way our 140K GB+BB employees work, and to make "Intel cool again".
Owns IT Strategy Key Initiative 6, to increase user productivity & experience for Intel employees - driving direction across IT segments & domains - and influencing CIO Staff & business leaders.
Responsible for delivering, securing, & maintaining all devices, OSs, email/messaging, unified communications, video, conferencing, etc. - including client computing lifecycle, and SW roadmap.
Manages worldwide operations that delivers PC refresh and Support for client computing incidents and problems - - with high visibility & impact to all levels of Intel mgt.
Responsible for maintaining large supplier relationships & setting the industry standard through supplier boards and industry forums.
Strong leadership, management communication, and presentation skills with experience managing relationships with internal business customers at an executive and senior/MCM management level.
Must know how to build and sustain strong performing teams and develop appropriately for bench strength Anticipates business climate, market/industry trends, and organizational needs, to provide direction and focus accordingly to set and meet evolving priorities.
Aligns and utilizes Intel internal partners and processes for end user and ecosystem value seen as industry leader and can represent Intel externally.
