Software Engineering Intern

Job Description

You should be currently studying towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in any of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science. You should have 2-3+ years academic studies behind you, less experienced students and different faculties will be considered with suitable hobbyist background.


Qualifications

Success in this position requires good learning and team working skills together with high level of motivation and drive. Your responsibilities would include helping maintaining hardware and software infrastructure for Intel servers. This includes Linux software development mostly in Python and hardware maintenance e.g., change the baseboard or the processors. You will have a possibility to touch base with a large variety of computer technologies like Python, the Linux kernel, Java and JavaScript. You'll be able to learn more about software design and development, as well as about the server internals e.g., what's inside the CPU?

We expect from candidate following:

- Comfortable dealing with server hardware

-Eager to learn and master the software design and development skills

- Being able to develop with Python is a plus

- Practical knowledge of Linux OS as user and administrator

- Fluency in written and spoken English.
