Join Intel as part of the Intel Communications and Devices Group iCDG MTG Modem Hardware MHW Design Team.We are looking for experienced Physical Design lead at our Bangalore Design center. In this position you will lead and contribute to the design and development of Intel's multimode cellular modem baseband 2G/3G/LTE/5G.You will be part of a talented team of engineers that takes designs from RTL to complete physical implementation, in a fast-paced technically challenging environment. You will provide technical leadership for low-power implementation and power analysis domain to deliver RTL2GDS implementation.


BS or MS with experience in high performance ASIC/SOC physical design with main focus in low-power implementation and power analysis. Strong expertise in the low-power implementation methodologies and power analysis, IR drop analysis in leading process technologies 28nm and below. Good understanding of the RTL2GDSII concepts related to synthesis, place & route, CTS, power-grid design, layout closure, UPF based power methodology, etc. Strong working experience with tools like Redhawk, Prime-power, PT-PX, VCLP, CLP etc. which are used in the RTL2GDSII implementation. Strong knowledge and experience in Block-level and/or Full-chip Floor-planning, power planning, and IR Drop analysis. Experience with low power design features and flows. Well versed with ESD, EM, Reliability sign off methodologies. Intel flow knowledge preferred. Expertise on high frequency clocking methodologies and good automation skills in PERL, TCL, tool specific scripting would be an added advantage. The ideal candidate should exhibit the following traits: Highly motivated technical expert with good communication and presentation skills. Good leadership skills in technical deliverables in low-power, IR analysis domain. Strong analytical ability and problem solving skills. Qualifications: BS or MS with 6-15 years of experience in ASIC/SOC Physical Design RTL2GDS. Ability to multi-task and flexibility to work in global environment. Good communication skills and strong motivation for customer support. Strong analytical & Problem solving skills.
