This is a commissioned sales position as Account Executive- Financial Service Industry vertical. The prime focus for the role is to drive Intel’s growth with large financial institutes in Australia and NewZealand to deploy innovative IA-based solutions that deliver strong business results for the customer. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, and evangelizing and winning architecture decisions – spanning client, server, edge devices, IoT, security, big data & Cloud- in targeted FSI accounts by offering unified, cohesive solutions based on products and services from Intel and fellow travelers.
The successful candidate will build deep relationships with senior customer executives and ecosystem partners, understand customer business problems, and help customers solve their problems through the deployment of Intel-based solutions. Also helps position Intel as a trusted advisor and technology thought leader in solving challenging business problems through the innovative application of technology. Engages business leaders, technical decision makers, industry influencers, policy makers to drive awareness and early adoption of new Intel technologies, platforms and products. Creates excitement and demonstrates the value of the new technology in solving customer problems by focusing on one-on-one interaction with key decision makers, one-to-many influencing through blogging, conferences, and presentations.

Open to SMG only ‐ Individual with 10-15 years of solutions sales with minimum 5-6 years’ experience in BFSI Vertical, working with a leading SI or ISV and a successful track record delivering business results for large BFSI customers. ‐ Strong business and technical acumen required, an MBA would be an advantage. ‐ Comfortable with risk-taking and hungry to succeed in a fast-moving business environment. ‐ Ability to excel as an empowered individual contributor and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment of high ambiguity and constant interruptions; ability to work under pressure and in crisis situations. ‐ Strong organizational and time management skills; attention to detail and results orientation. ‐ Ability to work effectively within a complex matrixed organization, across business groups, cultures and time-zones. ‐ Good sense of humor, flexibility and can-do spirit. Willingness to travel frequently.
