Graphics Software Intern

Job Description

You will be working in one of the teams within Visual and Parallel Computing Group which is chartered to develop 3D and Compute drivers for the Intel GPU as well as other solutions in the field of 3D graphics, GPGPU and machine learning technologies.

Your responsibilities as an Intern will include but will not be limited to:

  • Participating in regular code development, optimization of existing code and contributing to increasing quality of code and/or performance of the product before it ships to customers
  • Creating code builds, executing pre-defined tests for these builds and supporting engineers who are using the builds, mainly other development and validation engineers
  • Actively participating in other stages of software development life-cycle e.g. research, validation, pre- and post-release support activities, etc.

Besides regular work you can:

  • Chill out with unlimited amount of coffee, tea, soft drinks and massage chairs
  • Charge batteries during team events such as bowling, windsurfing, kayaking, soccer, skiing and many others
  • Use on-site conveniences including basketball/soccer/volleyball courts, board games room, covered motorcycle parking, free fruits, gaming consoles, airport shuttle service, table-tennis, tire change service, spa services, hairdressing, and more


Qualifications

You must be a student of computer science or related field and be willing to undertake an internship for minimum 12 months. No prior professional experience is required though it may be an advantage. Additional qualifications include: Algorithmic background and strong analytical and problem solving skills Practical knowledge of C/C++ and/or Python programming language Dedication, proactive attitude, passion and focus on results Very good communication skills Knowledge of English language at intermediate level Personal interests and/or hobby in the area of 3D graphics, GPGPU or artificial intelligence would be an added advantage Knowledge of basic concepts of 3D rendering pipeline and 3D/Compute APIs e.g. DirectX*, OpenGL*, OpenCL*, Vulkan*, etc. would be an added advantage
