Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units CPUs and/or peripheral equipment. Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports. Ensures products conform to standards and specifications. Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk. Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems. Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products. Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.

Bachelor of Science degree or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 5-7 years' experience designing/enabling HW Platforms/Chipsets/CPU. Preferred Experience: Experience supporting customers IA platform development and industry ecosystem enabling, System level Debug experience related to Platform/Chipset IO interfaces such as PCIe, USB, Audio, Memory etc., Customer Technical issue debug, Writing Technical specifications related to SOC, Platform Enabling, Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with design engineering, customers, technical marketing engineers, planners, and program managers - Exposure to Board design tools like Cadence Allegro, Concept HDL, ORCAD and experience with schematic and board layouts and design reviews - Strong lab debug skills utilizing lab tools Oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, debug HW/SW.
