Job Description Responsibilities: * Understand design documentation and contribute to the test plan and other validation documentation* Understand and support the architecture and design of the verification environment in OVM/UVM* Develop/run/debug tests* review code and functional coverage and implement feedback* Find root cause for failures in either test bench or design code * Document failures in a bug tracking database and driving them to closure * Track progress with help of lead/manager to achieve goals timely* Contribute to block level/cluster level validation in individual contributor role as a part of an extended validation team* Be able to work with teams across geosDevelops preSilicon functional validation tests to verify system will meet design requirements. Creates test plans for RTL validation, defining and running system simulation models, and finding and implementing corrective measures for failing RTL tests. Analyzes and uses results to modify testing.
Qualifications:* 2-4 years of domain experience with hands-on verification experience using SystemVerilog and OVM/UVM* Strong understanding of engineering design principles* Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Good team player with a 'can do' attitude, strong problem solving skills Requirement:* Experience with modern verification environments that include use of constrained-random stimulus and use of functional coverage* Should be able to create/update feature level test plans from design and architecture documentation* Good understanding of SystemVerilog* Experience with OVM/UVM must* Knowledge in scripting languages and utilities like Make, Perl, Python, etc.* Good understanding and working knowledge of simulation tools such as VCS from Synopsys* Experience in network ASIC design verification is a plus, such as Ethernet, PCI-Express, InfiniBand, SONET* Hands on Experience in C/C++ is highly desirable
