Job Description Our research focuses on analysis and synergistic combination of emerging applications, such as, visual and throughput computing, data-mining, AI, natural-language processing, real-time analytics, with upcoming architecture trends, such as, multi/many-core, reconfigurable, GPU, heterogeneous, and cloud computing. In this position, you will be responsible for performing application-driven architecture analysis to create architecture friendly parallel algorithms and drive architecture requirements and design features for our future software and hardware offerings, in the context of upcoming technology trends related to memory technology, process and reliability. This role will require a candidate capable of building cross-geo/business group relations, exercising influence throughout the technical, management and business chain and have the ability to communicate complex concepts at different levels of abstraction. Preference will be given to the candidates with research experience in Machine Learning/Big Data.
You should possess a Ph.D./MS degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with research experience in one or more of the following: Emerging applications, parallel programming, and mulitcore/manycore architectures.
