Sr. Litigation Paralegal

Job Description

In this position, you will be assisting senior litigation attorneys within Intel Corporation's Law & Policy Group with the management of complex IP, competition, and commercial litigation.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for the management and coordination of all discovery efforts, including complex factual investigation, legal research, information gathering inside and outside of Intel, document collection, Early Case Assessment, and document review and production
  • Directly managing the litigation team, which could include in-house paralegals and IT support personnel outside attorneys, paralegals and case assistants and outside vendors
  • Responsible for deposition coordination, court hearing and trial preparation, trial site logistics and support
  • Assisting with efficiency and other improvements within the department


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • You should possess a Bachelor's degree, paralegal certification and meet all requirements for paralegals under CA Business and Professions Code 6450 -- 6456.
  • You must have at least 10 years of experience as a full-time litigation paralegal in an in-house legal department or national practice.

Additional qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of litigation and civil procedure, including key concepts in patent and competition litigation, and electronic discovery
  • Advanced technical skills--proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, SharePoint and legal applications, databases and research tools and ability to embrace ever-changing technologies and tools in the area of discovery and data management.
  • Extensive experience in, and a thorough understanding of, all aspects of large scale document and data preservation, collection, processing, review and production
  • Ability to exercise excellent judgment and initiative, and possess strong leadership, teaming, project management and problem solving skills to successfully drive projects to completion
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to perform out-of-state and potentially international travel depending on the locations and status of the cases assigned to you.
