Corporate Services CS provides Intel employees the infrastructure and environment to create breakthrough technology that make amazing experiences possible. Our scope is vast, whether we are providing services that help employees stay productive and satisfied, or transforming how we work by providing ultra-pure water/chemicals to factory process tools, shuttling employees between sites, protecting the environment, keeping employees safe, or building and maintaining offices, labs, and factories. Our employees create a better tomorrow for all Intel employees around the world.
Instrumentation is vital in measuring and controlling parameters such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, and humidity by gathering information from the field and then changing its parameters via a control loop. Instrumentation & Controls engineers therefore aim to improve field process control loops for safety, continuity and optimization through measurement.
As an Instrumentation & Controls engineer you will:
Prepare engineering assessments
Provide technical operations direction on construction designs.
Conduct troubleshooting and root cause failure analyses.
Drive engineering solutions to address and rectify issues to manage long term equipment improvement initiatives.
Establish and submit process requirements to be met when designing and acquiring instrumentation equipment.
Act as a liaison to daily tactical operations customer requests.
Demonstrate application of engineering principles, theories and concepts in the Instrumentation and Controls I&C field.
Design, install, manage, and maintain equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.
The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:
Able to work in team environment to solve problems.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively as an individual with minimal direction, and as part of a larger team.
