Job Description As a manager, set priorities for the team, get results across boundaries, ensure an inclusive work environment, develop employees, and manage performance. Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.
Candidate must possess a Master's Degree in VLSI or Electricals or equivalent with at least 9 years of experience in related field or a Bachelor's Degree in E&C or Electrical Engineering or equivalent with at least 11 or more years of experience or Diploma in E&C with at least 13 years of experience.Preferred Experience: -Layout design of high speed Datapath or Register file or custom memory-Understanding of Layout design Convergence at Block/Section Level -Basic understanding of timing analysis is plus-Scripting knowledge is plus.3+ years of people manager experience.
