Business Marketing Specialist Intern- UK Distribution

Job Description

You will be working within the UK Distribution and Scale Partner team. This team drives digital transformation in end customers from fast food retailers to the largest Auto manufacturers all by partnering with leading UK Solution providers and Distributors.

The successful candidate will work across the team helping develop, manage and execute marketing programs. Also helping to manage and use the Innovation lab in Intel's Canary Wharf office where we are able demonstrate many thought provoking and innovative product solutions.

Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Managing the Innovation lab, selecting technology demo roadmap, coordinating deployment with Intel and customers leaders.
  • Delivery of customer 'walk throughs' presenting directly to customers.
  • Liaising with senior leaders in our Solution partners/providers and their sales teams and customers, to define support the sale and scale of breakthrough technology.
  • Project managing Thought Leadership visionary collateral, designed to drive business and digital transformation within the top Fortune 500 companies at an executive level.
  • Help manage business process dashboard to review progress toward team goals.
  • Supporting industry events and networking with industry professionals.
  • Communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize is essential.


This is a 13 month fixed-term placement suitable for students currently studying a degree course in a relevant discipline e.g. Business, Marketing, Computer Studies, IT Management for Business, and is targeted at 2nd year students enrolled in a 4 years bachelor's degree which includes a year in industry.

Additional skills required include:

  • Organisational skills, confidence to work with customers.
  • Desire to build presentation skills and confidence.
  • Comfortable analyzing and solving complex problems.
  • Ability to research, synthesize and simplify complex information.
  • Expertise in use of social media tools and capabilities
  • Understanding of approaches to Strategic Planning/Business Modelling
