Power Modeling Developer - Power Artist

Job Description

Join Intel as part of the BaseBand & SoC Development group in iCDG (Intel's Communication and Devices Group). We are looking for experienced Power Modeling Developers.

In this position you will contribute to the development of application specific processors for Intel's multimode cellular modems.

The Candidate will be responsible in setting up the Power tool flow:

  • Power Artist/PTPX flow.
  • Run power Artist/PTPX and record power measurements.
  • Debug/analyze tool flow issues, automate the flows.

Communicate with multiple teams:

Technology team, design team, verification team, SW team, Physical Design team and Vendors. This candidate can also assist in UPF development.

Qualifications:

BS/MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, and 5+ years’ experience in the following areas:

  • Electrical engineering concepts, circuit analysis and logic design skills
  • Familiarity with power integrity and power distribution
  • Low power digital ASIC design, power analysis and modeling
  • Tool Familiarity, with one or more of the following: PowerArtist, Synopsys PrimeTime, PTPX.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • UPF development experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following:  Modelsim, VCS, Debussy and Spyglass
  • Programming languages: Verilog, Python, Perl, C++, C-shell, UNIX
  • Experience in use-case analysis is a plus
  • Modem Experience is a plus
