We are looking for you as Mixed-Signal Design Engineer for Power Management Modules and High Speed Serial Interfaces f/mIn this position, you will be part of a highly-dynamic Development team for PMU modules and systems. You will use your IC design know-how and state-of-the-art validation and verification methodologies, tools and flows to develop complex low power designs for our innovative communications platform products. You're going to work closely with the System Engineering, Analog Design and Backend teams as well as with the Component Verification team to validate your design in the lab.We offer a demanding position in an international company. You should hold a University / University of applied sciences:
Master or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or Physics.
Work experience in digital development of at least 6 years is required, preferably on switched-mode power supplies.
We expect a highly-motivated and flexible technical expert with good communication and presentation skills.
Strong interest in problem solving and an attitude to convince people of own ideas as well as openness towards novel technical directions are mandatory.
The candidate should be capable of working in multi-disciplinary / site / cultural teams.
Required technical skills are:
Expert know how in digital design using HDL-Understanding of digital Backend flow Synthesis/STA/P&R/ATPG
Understanding functionality of buck / boost switched mode DCDC converters
Knowledge of behavioral modeling of analog circuits
Experience with Cadence DFII-Knowledge of digital verification strategies RTL/Constrained Random/GateLevel
Desired tooling experience: VCS, Verdi, Cadence, Spyglass, Matlab, Jasper
Desired language experience: VHDL, SystemVerilog, Matlab, Perl, Python, Mako, ShellScript-Supporting concept engineering and hardware validation
